Environmental Science Deskbook

As a young environmental lawyer, I was struck by the absence of any sort of reference book that explained to the liberal arts major the myriad scientific and technical concepts that pervade the field of environmental law. My first solution, for three years, was to organize and moderate a two-day conference on the subject. My second solution, which took five years to complete, was to take the substance of that course - and much, much more - and pack it into a single volume. The result has been a widely acclaimed best-seller (for a trade publication, anyway). Now co-edited by Bill Goodfellow of Exponent, the book is currently in its 27th edition. Every practicing environmental lawyer should have a copy. You can order it for a 45-day inspection period by going to: http://legalsolutions.thomsonreuters.com/law-products/Treatises/Environmental-Science-Deskbook-Environmental-Law-Series/p/100029493
